Example Order Process

What you do

The process is very simple. All you need to do is fill out the order form and we do the rest. The order form contains all the information we need to fulfill your request such as the number of copies you would like to distribute, the version you would like, and the information that will be included on the cover of the booklet. We will distribute as few as 500 copies per order. In most cases, except in the most rural areas, there are at least 2,000-3,000 homes within a one mile radius of a church building. The cost of partnering with The Light Project is only $1.00 per booklet which covers the cost of printing, customization, postage, and mailing services.

What we do

Once you have indicated how many booklets you would like distributed in your church’s community we will identify and retrieve addresses for the closest residences to your church up to the number of copies you have specified. The booklet will be customized to include the information you specify on the order form such as your church’s name, contact information, website, and service times on the front. The back of the booklet will be customized to include your church return address which is included in both the mailing panel and the reply card. Booklets will be mailed directly to the homes around your church via Standard USPS mail. Lists of addresses mailed to are available upon request so that your church can coordinate follow-up or community outreach into the areas in which the booklet was mailed.

What then?

As the homes surrounding your church begin to receive their booklets, recipients can fill out the pre-addressed reply card to indicate that they would like some follow-up from the church regarding what they have just read or for other reasons. Follow-up postcards and other direct mail efforts can be integrated for a multi-touch campaign. Please e-mail us at info@thelightproject.org for details on follow-up and postcard campaigns.
My friends, if you want a reason for not loving Christ don't turn to John. He knew Him too long. I don't believe a man can read the gospel of John without being turned to Christ. — D. L. Moody
The best book in the world to put into the hands of one who desires to know about Jesus and to be saved is the gospel of John. — R. A. Torrey
